Kids First Aid Course Information

Looking for a new school holiday, weekend or after-school activity?

Kids First Aid workshops are an age appropriate and entertaining introduction to first aid for children as young as 5.

It is never to early to learn first aid skills that could potentially save a life of a family member or friend.

• MINI HEROES  For Kids aged 5- 9 
  Your child will learn how to recognise danger and if someone is hurt or unwell,   Call for help,  and complete simple first aid steps such as applying pressure to stop bleeding or rolling an unconcious person into the recovery position.
• MEND-A-MATE For Kids aged 8 -12
  As well as the above skills, They will learn additional first aid skills so they can respond to common sporting injuries and accidents in the home as well as basic risk assessment and emergency response skills

We use a range of age appropriate teaching methods such as visual aids,  props, and role plays and practical activities to make the session entertaining and fun.

Excite Safety is a registered Child Safe Organisation,  all our team members have current Working with Children checks, not to mention First aid qualifications and plenty of experience!.

Parents are welcome to stay an enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in our observation area while thier children get excited about safety.

Excite Safety can provide onsite courses for schools, before and after care, kids community groups and vacation care at your location.  We typically service locations in the Sutherland Shire, Wollongong, Western Sydney, Sydney South  Campbelltown, Cronulla, Chatswood and Greater Sydney Region. If you are looking for onsite training outside of these areas please contact our team to discuss travel arrangements.

Important Booking Information:

Our student management system requires a unique email address for each student.

Kids email addresses:

Most school-aged children are issued an Department of Education email address when they begin formal schooling.
If your child does not have an email address, you would need create a free one on their behalf.
We suggest Gmail, Outlook or icloud as good options for this.

Booking for a single child :

Select your preferred course date from the calendar
Choose “I’m booking for an individual”  then select “I’m booking on behalf of someone.”
Enter your email address as the organiser (you will receive the receipt)  and then add your child’s details as the participant.

Enrolling more than one child:

Select your preferred course date from the calendar
Choose “I’m booking for a group.” then select “I’m booking on behalf of the group” add the number of children you are booking for.
Enter your email address as the organiser (you will receive the combined receipt) and add each childs details with a unique email address for each child
