Local community sports clubs are an important part of our community. They bring people together, keep us fit and healthy and provide a range of mental health benefits.
But…. playing sports can put even the fittest participants at risk of injury and sometimes even just watching sports can be hazardous to your health!
Sports clubs also have a duty of care to their members and guests to keep them safe. This includes ensuring that the club has a sufficient number people trained in first aid and sufficent first aid equipment available just in case!
At Excite Safety we know that this is often challenging, especially when clubs rely on volunteers to keep the club running this is why we have initiated our “Safer Sports” Program for community clubs in the Sutherland Shire, St George and Illawarra regions.
With this program we aim to support our local sports clubs and help them become safer community places by supporting the First Aid training and education of club Officials and members, and helping them prepare for all eventualities with the the right equipment and safety expertise.
Program Benefits
Up to 5 Complimentary First Aid Enrolments per season
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (Training and assessment delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO 90909)
- Can be allocated for use by Club Officials,Coaches, Referees, Team managers or Club Volunteers
- Use for Fundraising Raffle / Auction night Prizes – Give the gift of safety !
- To be used within the current season Winter ( March – August ) or Summer ( October – February)
A Club Credit Code for members and associates to use when renewing thier personal certification/s
- Club members will receive an exclusive Discount when they quote the Club Credit Code when booking online or over the phone at Excite Safety
- Each time the Club Credit Code is used the Club will gain credits to be used for first aid equipment or additional training.
- Bonus Club Credits can be earned when the number of times the Club Credit Code is quoted reaches set milestones.
- The more you promote your code and the more club members use it, the greater the benefits for the club.
Club Credits can also be earned for any private courses
